Legal Action & Cybercrime

Holding Lunar Astro and Deepanshu Giri Accountable

The Crimes Committed by the Lunar Astro Network

The actions taken by the proxy pages associated with Deepanshu Giri and Lunar Astro are not just "mean comments" on the internet. They are severe violations of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology (IT) Act.

How to Fight Back: A Guide for Victims

If you have been defrauded or harassed by Lunar Astro, you have immense legal power. Do not let their digital mob intimidate you. Follow these steps:

1. Document Everything

Take screenshots of every threat, every photoshopped image, and every email where they refused your refund. Save the exact URLs of the offending Facebook posts.

2. Report to Meta (Facebook) Legal

Do not use the standard "Report" button. Email fbgoindia@support.facebook.com and state that you are filing a grievance under the IT Rules 2021 for Child Safety Violations and Criminal Intimidation. Meta is legally required to respond.

3. File a Cyber Crime FIR

Visit cybercrime.gov.in (or email your state's Cyber Cell directly if you are overseas). Submit your screenshots and explicitly cite IPC 506 (Criminal Intimidation). Because Deepanshu Giri is the brand owner, he holds vicarious liability for threats made in the name of his business.

4. International Victims (Australia, US, UK)

If you reside outside of India, you have even more protection. For example, Australian residents can file a report with the eSafety Commissioner, who has the power to force Meta to globally remove harassing content within 24 hours under threat of massive fines.
